Course Description
This course teaches students to create OSF/Motif graphical user interfaces (GUI) using Motif, Xt Intrinsics, and Xlib.

This course presents the essential elements of the X Window System and continues through to the Motif widget set and function libraries, along with the Xt Intrinsics and low-level Xlib calls necessary to use them. Lab exercises allow students to use this knowledge to build working GUI applications.

Audience
This course is designed for programmers and managers who need to learn how to build effective GUIs using OSF/Motif and to better understand the X Windows system.

Prerequisites
UNIX Fundamentals (or equivalent experience)
C Programming (or equivalent experience)
